Les Patios d’Eugenie is located in the heart of Biarritz in a peaceful spot just 400m respectively from the “Grand Plage” beach and the village centre. Whilst the former is one of the most famous landmarks of Biarritz, the latter takes is a chic coastal town with a vibrant yet laid back buzz with excellent restaurants and bars.

Recently built, Les Patios d’Eugenie is a subtle alliance of history combined with modern style living and has architectural character. All apartments are located in two buildings are served by a lift and have the pretty outdoor patio and heated pool at street level where you will also find the reception. Just above the pool is the spa centre with its Jacuzzi, hammam and sauna as well as a full range of treatments and massages which can be booked locally. Whilst the sauna, Jacuzzi and steam room and treatments are payable, each apartment has one free session in the sauna and hammam.

Inside, the 66 apartments are fitted to a very high standard with the elegant and high spec. furnishings creating a modern yet homely feel. The residence has a covered parking (payable) and for those who would like to explore the city and coastline on two wheels, there is also a bike garage. A local shuttle bus stops close to the residence and covers the whole Biarritz area.

Biarritz is the jewel on the coast in this beautiful Basque enclave in the Atlantic Pyrenees and is well renowned as a top destination for surfers and water sports enthusiasts who enjoy those Atlantic sea with its high rollers. Naturally this gives the town a lively buzz to it but it also has a village feel and a haven for gourmet lovers and bon viveur who will enjoy the gastronomy extravaganza here in the restaurants and bars.

Biarritz is also famous for its lovely promenade that snakes the coast - it is here that during the Belle Epoque, the rich and famous would come to stroll and take the fresh sea air. King Leopold III and his beloved wife Eugenie (after whom the residence is named) loved this area and were regular visitors here. Along this promenade you will encounter famous sights long standing sights such as the Grand Plage, lookout points, the century old aquarium as the lighthouse.

Whilst exploring the stunning coastline, be sure to pop in to St Jean de Luz, a pretty fishing village just 5 miles away. The village has grown over the years but it still has its authentic Basque roots, excellent beaches and colourful history. The famous King Leopold III was married to his beloved Eugenie here and a plaque certifies it in the central square by the port.  

Apartments 
All the apartments at Les Patios d’Eugenie in Biarritz are fitted and furnished to a very high standard and have everything you will need during your stay. The interior décor is stylish, modern and homely. They all have a fully equipped kitchenette with 2/4-ring ceramic hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, coffee-maker and toaster; a TV and most have a furnished balcony or ground floor terrace/ garden area.

Studio sleeping 2 (ca. 25m2): Open plan living/dining area with a sofa bed (converts to 2 single beds), bathroom with WC.

1 Bedroom Apartment sleeping 4 (ca. 40m2): Open plan living/dining area with a sofa bed (converts to 2 single beds), 1 twin bedroom, bathroom with WC.

1 Bedroom Alcove Apartment sleeping 6 (ca. 40m2): Open plan living/dining area with sofa bed (converts to 2 singles beds), 1 twin bedroom, 1 alcove with bunk beds, bathroom, shower-room & WC.

2 Bedroom Apartment sleeping 6 (ca. 57m2): Open plan living/dining area with sofa bed (converts to 2 singles beds), 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom (may be bunk beds) bathroom, shower-room & WC.

2 Bedroom Duplex Apartment sleeping 6 (ca. 75m2): Open plan living/dining area with sofa bed (converts to 2 singles beds), 2 bedrooms sleeping two people or 1 bedrooms sleeping two people and 1 alcove with bunk beds, bathroom, shower room and WC. Split level.

2 Bedroom Alcove or Duplex Apartment sleeping 8 (ca. 70m2): Open plan living/dining area with sofa bed (converts to 2 singles beds), 3 bedrooms sleeping two people or 2 bedrooms sleeping two people and 1 alcove with bunk beds, bathroom, shower room and WC. May be split level.

3 Bedroom Duplex Apartment sleeping 8 (ca. 81m2): Open plan living/dining area with sofa bed (converts to 2 singles beds), 3 bedrooms sleeping two people or 2 bedrooms sleeping two people and 1 alcove with bunk beds, bathroom, shower room and WC. Split level.

3 Bedroom Duplex with alcove sleeping 10 (ca. 120m2): Open plan living/dining area with sofa bed (converts to 2 singles beds), 3 bedrooms sleeping two people or 2 bedrooms sleeping two people and 1 alcove with bunk beds, bathroom, shower room and WC. Split level.

Please note: for any apartments at Les Patios d’Eugenie in Biarritz that feature bunk beds, sleeping in the top bunk is not recommended for children under the age of 6 years old.
 

Price includes

Fully equipped apartment, flat screen TV, bed linen and towels, free access to the pool (open mid-May to mid-September (weather permitting) on Sun-Fri, 09.00-12.00 & 16.00-19.00) and one free sauna and hammam session per apartment per week stay.

- Optional underground parking (height limit 2.05m): €49/car/week (pre-bookable and payable in advance or on arrival- subject to availability).

- Refundable breakage deposit: €300/apartment - Please note no deposit, no keys!
- Local Tourist Tax: 2.20€/person 13yrs+/day (guide price)

Pets

Pets are allowed and will be charged €44/week (payable locally). A valid passport for your pet is compulsory.
