Located on the hillside at the beginning of the charming town of Les Angles and overlooking Matemale Lake is where you will find Les Chalets de l'Isard.

The recently constructed Les Chalets de l'Isard benefits from direct access to the resort slopes which are just a short walk from the residence. If the legs don't hold out from all the skiing at the end of the day you can always jump on the resort shuttle bus which will transfer you back from the slopes.

For those that still have energy after a day on the slopes, why not work up a huge appetite for one of the many excellent restaurants in town by spending some time in the fitness room? Or perhaps some laps of the indoor heated pool before an aperitif in one of the lively bars?

Furnished with modern and fresh apartments that are served by well-equipped kitchens, the residence is a perfect bolt hole for family and friends to enjoy the delights of this resort. If it's relaxation that you are after then why not wind down in the onsite spa and wellness centre or drift away on the bubbles of the Jacuzzi? The perfect antidote to modern living!

An added benefit for families is that the residence runs its own mini club (only open during French school holidays) and accepts children from 4  to 12 years old. Indoor and outdoor games are organised and there are morning or afternoon programmes to keep the children entertained. (Payable, pre-booking advisable). Baby items can also be rented and loaned (see below).

The pretty village of Les Angles with its pistes coming down right into the old village, is unique in the Pyrenees. Above the resort, the ski area of the same name, offers picturesque ski trails and views of quaint Catalan churches and the forests and lakes. This ski resort has been a favourite resort for both French and Spanish for many years.

Grouped around its typically Catalonian church, the village with its natural warm springs and the 'Espace Bluneige' leisure centre is great for families. However, its very lively Catalonian nights in its selection of restaurants and bars make it ideal for those looking for a night life as well.

Les Chalets de l'Isard has 82 new and modern well-equipped self-catering apartments all of which are furnished in modern tones of grey and white. The apartments include flat-screen television, a fully equipped kitchenette with microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot, 2-4 ring ceramic hob, kettle and hairdryer.

1 Bedroom Apartment sleeping 4 (ca. 27m2): Open plan living/dining area with double sofa bed, 1 double bedroom, bathroom with separate WC. Balcony or terrace.

1 Bedroom Alcove Apartment sleeping 4-6 (ca. 38m2): Open plan living/dining area with double sofa bed, 1 double bedroom, 1 alcove with bunk beds, bathroom with separate WC. Balcony.

2 Bedroom Alcove Apartment sleeping 6-8 (ca. 50m2): Open plan living/dining area with double sofa bed, 2 double bedrooms, 1 alcove with bunk beds, bathroom with separate WC. Balcony or terrace.

Please note: Alcoves are usually not enclosed, have bunk beds and no window. For any apartments at Les Chalets de l'Isard that feature bunk beds, sleeping in the top bunk is not recommended for children under the age of 6 years old.

Fully equipped apartment with TV, bed linen, free access to the indoor heated swimming pool (open Monday - Saturday, 09:00 - 18:45 & Sunday 0900-12:00), gym, Jacuzzi and steam room, luggage room, free Wi-Fi in communal areas, ski locker,  baby kit (including baby cot and high chair, request at time of reservation, subject to availability), laundry room with iron and ironing board (wash/dry cycles payable), outdoor parking (uncovered).

Pre-bookable Extras

Optional covered outdoor parking (height limit 1.90m): £30/car/week (pre-bookable and payable in advance or on arrival- subject to availability).
Mini Club (4-12yrs): Throughout the French holidays (pre-bookable and payable in advance or on arrival - subject to availability).

Refundable breakage deposit: €300/apartment - Please note no deposit, no keys!
Local Tourist Tax: €1.10/person 13yrs+/day (guide price)
End of stay cleaning if the apartment is not left clean and tidy (kitchen area & dishes exempt): €50/1 Bed. Apt Sleeping 4; €55/1 Bed. Alcove Apt Sleeping 4-6; €65/1 Bed. Alcove Apt Sleeping 6-8.
Full Wi-Fi internet access: €20/week or €25/ family week (several connections possible with 1 code).

Bath set (1 bath towel & 1 hand towel): €8/set/pers.
Laundry (self-service): €5/wash cycle & €3/dry cycle.
 

Pets

Pets are allowed and will be charged €45/week (payable locally). A valid passport for your pet is compulsory.

Loan of extras

Board games, Raclette set, sledges (all subject to availability) and free of charge.

Reception opening hours

Monday – Saturday: 08:00 – 12:00 & 16:00 – 19:00 (closed on Wednesday)
Sunday: 08:00 – 12:00 (open only during holidays on Sunday)

Arrival day at Les Chalets de l'Isard is Saturday (and other days on request) 17:00 - 19:00 and Departure by 10:00 (contact residence by 18:30 if arriving late).
