Les Balcons de L’yse is a modern residence situated above the village of Luz saint Sauveur on the foothills of the Pyrenees National Park with spectacular views down the valley and of the surrounding mountain peaks. The buildings, with their balconies and window shutters, are in keeping the older buildings that you will see in the town of Luz itself. Painted in pastel shades with slate grey roofs, the residence blends beautifully with the environs.

The residence offers fresh and spacious accommodation which is bright and contemporary in style. French doors open to balconies with vast views of the valley and up to the mountain peaks. From many of the apartments you can also see the Chapel of Solferino and the Chateaux Sainte Marie which is perched on a hill in the town centre. Well equipped kitchenettes and modern bathrooms round out the comforts inside.

The Luz Ardiden Ski Resort is just 15km away and the pilgrimage town of Lourdes, with its international airport is but a 30-minute drive away. The ski area actually sits right inside the bounds of the National Park and offers some excellent off piste skiing at the back of the bowl. Luz's excellent location also means that it has easy access to the nearby resort of Bareges/Grand Tourmalet (the biggest ski area in the Pyrenees). If you want a break from the skiing then you should definitely try one of the thermal spas that the area is famous for such as the “Luzea” baths in the main town.

The residence also benefits from an indoor heated pool which is a great place to take a refreshing dip and relax after a day on the slopes. Additional features include a sauna, fitness room, games room and relaxation area with free Wi-Fi access. The games room's central feature is the red baized pool table which sits strikingly against the natural stone backdrop and wood panelled roof. It also benefits from a small kitchen area where guest can help themselves to complimentary hot drinks while the lower ground 'chill out' area is fitted out with futons and loungers with a sort of buddha bar relaxation theme - a great place to unwind with a good book and panoramas of the Luz Valley below. 

All the stylish apartments at Les Balcons de L’Yse in Luz Saint Sauveur are modern and spacious and furnished to a high standard of comfort and convenience. They all have a modern integrated kitchen area with 2-ring ceramic hob, small fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave/grill and electric coffee-maker. All apartments have a balcony or terrace, a private ski locker (located on the ground floor), cable TV, and a bathroom with bath tub or shower and WC.

Studio apartment sleeping 2 (ca. 24m2): Open plan living/dining area with double pull-out sofa bed, bathroom with WC. Balcony or terrace.

1 bedroom apartment sleeping 2/4 (ca. 30-40m2): Open plan living/dining area with pull-out double sofa bed, 1 bedroom with a double bed, bathroom with WC. Balcony or terrace.

1 bedroom apartment with alcove sleeping 4/6 (ca. 38-42m2): Open plan living/dining area with double pull-out sofa bed, alcove with bunk beds or two single beds, 1 bedroom with a double bed, bathroom with WC. Balcony or terrace (may be a duplex apartment).

2 bedroom Duplex apartment with alcoves (and/or mezzanine) sleeping 6/8 (ca. 55-60m2): Open plan living/dining area with double pull-out sofa bed, 2 alcoves or 1 alcove and a mezzanine with bunk beds OR two single beds, bathroom with WC, shower room and extra WC (may be separate). Balcony or terrace.

2 bedroom semi-detached Chalet apartment with alcoves and/or mezzanine) sleeping 6/8 (ca. 60m2): Open plan living/dining area with double pull-out sofa bed, 2 alcoves or 1 alcove and a mezzanine with bunk beds OR two single beds, bathroom with WC, shower room and extra WC (may be separate). Balcony or terrace.

Please note: for any apartments/chalets that feature bunk beds, sleeping in the top bunk is not recommended for children under the age of 6 years old and not for children over 14. Some rooms may be in the eaves.

Pets

Only one pet per apartment is allowed free of charge. A valid passport for your pet is compulsory.

Loan of extras

Cots, highchairs (request at time of booking, 1 cot & 1 highchair max per apartment), bottle warmers, socket guards, raclette and fondue sets, board games and electrical adaptors (all subject to availability).

Every day: 09.00 - 12.30 & 14.30 - 21.00.
